FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Through interactive sessions, participants will learn practical techniques to assert their needs, improve self-esteem, and manage difficult interpersonal dynamics. We will explore strategies for implementing limits, processing challenging emotions, and cultivating resilience. The group format will create an environment of empowerment and validation as participants work towards a life of healthier boundaries and greater authenticity in their relationships.

  • This workshop is for women identifying people who are looking to learn how to create and implement healthy boundaries, improve their relationship with themself and others, and learn practical skills to reduce stress and improve their overall wellbeing. If you are experiencing feelings of resentment, burnout, disconnection from yourself, lone-wolf syndrome, or people pleaser syndrome, this workshop will help.

  • This weekly in-person group workshop runs for 8 weeks every Wednesday evening from 6-7:30P starting on March 27th. The meetings are 75-90 minutes long and the format includes interactive education sessions, engaging group discussions, skill building activities, and weekly reflection prompts.

meet your expert

TAYLOR NANCE, LMFT

Taylor (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist who works to empower her clients as they journey towards wellness. She collaborates with her clients to foster hope even when it seems like the odds are stacked against them. Her systemic training helps her to understand the intergenerational family dynamics that often contribute to, and influence, presenting concerns. Taylor’s approach is warm, curious, compassionate, and truthful.  

Taylor received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University. She utilizes an integrative treatment style that fits the unique needs of each client. Taylor specializes in helping clients learn how to regulate their emotions using mindfulness. Additionally, she specializes in supporting highly empathetic clients go from people pleasing to living intentional, authentic, and resentment free lives. She educates clients about how to set and maintain healthy boundaries, about how the past impacts the present, and about how to overcome the effects of low-self-worth. She teaches clients practical skills to adjust to life transitions and reduce the symptoms of anxiety and burnout. Taylor delivers culturally competent and socially just care through identifying and addressing the traumatic impact that systemic oppression has on one’s mental health. 

 

Taylor understands that the road to healing can present unexpected trials, and she is committed to holding space for her clients as they work through obstacles together. When she’s not in the office she enjoys perusing local coffee shops, traveling, cooking a new recipe, tending to her plants, and watching re-runs of Law & Order SVU.
