Specialties: Individual, Couples, Family
Hi! I’m Emily (she/her), a Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with individuals, couples and families to deepen their connection to themselves and others.
My style is warm, empathetic and direct. Whether you are healing from trauma, grieving a loss, navigating life transitions, experiencing disconnection in relationships or just feeling stuck -- you can expect our work to deepen a connection to your full authentic self by exploring relational patterns, past experiences and the connection between your mind and body. My goal is to support you in fostering clarity to navigate your life and relationships with embodiment and compassion.
Grounded in an attachment lens, I consider the broader systems -- family, culture and society -- that shape your experience. My approach draws from therapeutic frameworks such as Internal Family Systems, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Narrative Therapy to support in understanding yourself with nonjudgemental curiosity.
I hold a Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. I have also completed a Level 1 ICEEFT training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
I feel deeply honored to bear witness to the experiences of my clients, and I value the courage and vulnerability it takes to show up in my office. Some of my favorite moments as a therapist are seeing clients reclaim the inner wisdom that allows them to live with alignment and presence -- whether by dismantling intergenerational patterns, embracing self-compassion, or deepening their relationships through vulnerability and connection.
When I’m not in the therapy room you will find me outside -- hiking with my partner and dog, enjoying a dinner party with friends, playing with my 4-year-old nephew, or my personal favorite: gardening.
